We’ve hired Champion twice this year to remove two massive trees from our backyard, both requiring a crane. Each project was handled smoothly from start to finish, making the entire process worry free. In addition to their competitive pricing, we especially appreciated the professionalism and hustle of the entire Champion team.

If you’re looking for a great tree service, I highly recommend Champion Tree Service. I’ve been using them to trim my trees for over five years, and they just finished trimming all of my palms this week.

They’re always on time, do great work, clean everything up when they’re finished, and their pricing is very reasonable. The owner, Rob, is very hands-on and makes sure the job is done right.

Great local company and definitely worth giving them a call!

We couldn't be happier with Champion Tree Service! After calling several tree companies, they were the only ones who actually answered the phone and got us scheduled right away.

The crew showed up ready to work and worked incredibly hard from start to finish. They removed several very large trees that could have fallen into two of our neighbors' yards, giving us so much peace of mind. They were courteous, attentive, responsive, and took pride in doing the job right.

It's refreshing to find a company that is so dependable and customer-focused. We are extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Champion Tree Service to anyone needing tree work. Thank you for such an outstanding job!

They came to my house even earlier than they said they would. I had them do some trimming and removal of downed large branches on a very large water oak, trimming of dead and broken branches from a pine, removing two large red tip photenias, and removing a large Chinese parasol tree. They completed all the cutting and moving the logs and branches to the road in two hours. Their truck came the same day and picked up the logs and branches. The stump grinder came a few days later and ground the three stumps. I'm pleased with the work they did and the cleanup.

We had a large limb fall in the backyard yard taking down some utility lines in the process on a Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday morning I called 3 tree services- #1 couldn't come until 2 ½ weeks later, #2 never returned my call, and #3 didn’t respond until the following Monday.

I contacted Champion on Friday morning, they came to the house in about an hour, assessed the work, provided a price that we deemed acceptable, and scheduled the work for the following week. The team arrived on Monday as expected and completed the tree removal in short order. The logs were removed before the weekend. The next Monday they came and ground down the large stump.

Champion answered the phone (no recording), came when they said they would, and cleaned up their work areas. I can assure you that should we need additional tree trimming or removal they will be the FIRST call.

They were at my house early the next morning and they hit the ground running. The team worked so well together and were very efficient, keeping me informed throughout the whole process. It blew me away how clean my yard was when they finished up. They even applied tarps on my roof after they removed the tree. Top notch service performed by a top notch team. Please use this company! Very reasonably priced and very professional. It only took them several hours to take down one medium tree and one large tree and they were very prompt getting me scheduled. They even cut a few extra dead limbs and one or two small stumps that weren't quoted. They missed a stump to grind up that was quoted and quickly came back out to get it. They blew off the entire driveway and yard even though they only worked in part of it. It is refreshing to deal with a company who cleans up behind themselves and clearly takes pride in their work. I can't recommend them enough!

So I happened to have the world strongest dead tree. This old man clearly watched over this neighborhood. It was time to give treebeards distant cousin a proper rest. These guys made cutting down this tree a priority, and I do appreciate it. I had a guy and his crew ghost me? This is business, and you ghost a customer that's wow. This was a two day job. The crew did a great job. Considering the size and the location, it was impressive. The price yea well if your tree towers over other trees and is hollowed out. The price it is what it is. The safety was what's important. They take cash, credit, and financing. If you have a tree that's getting too big and old and close to your home. Give the champs a call

I had a giant tree fall through the middle of my house in Trussville. Scott showed up the next morning, a Satruday, after our phone call and gave me a very fair bid. I contacted several tree service companies for estimates to remove a large tree and chose Champion due to they came on time to give me an estimate, were competitive with there estimate, were very polite and nice. After agreeing on the price and the date to remove the tree, there crew arrived on time, were very respectful and professional! and conscientious of my property, they worked together and efficiently! They had the job completed in less than three hours with no debris left behind. They thanked me for my business and left. I could not tell that I had an 60 foot tree laying across my yard after they dropped it, cut it up and removed everything without damaging my property!

A simple phone call and Scott was out the next afternoon to look at the scope of work and giving an estimate. A couple of days later (earlier than original estimate 😁) the crew arrived to begin the work. They were absolutely awesome!!! The constant “hot mike”communication and positioning of the crew was very indicative that Safety was their Number One priority!! The entire operation, members and equipment, was incredible to watch. Everyone was polite and alway had time to answer any questions we had. A FIVE STAR review is truly insignificant for Champion, they deserve a Hundred!!!

Scott called me directly and was out there to quote us within a day. We had about 15 trees removed and the price was more than fair. They came out within a week (probably would've been sooner but we had several rainy days during that period.) One of my biggest compliments to these guys is that you almost couldn't tell they'd even been there other than for the trees being removed. Grass was not damaged and all debris had been removed! Would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends.

I had an old, dead oak tree, a large pile of overgrown shrubbery and more removed and hauled off. Champion Tree Service was reasonably priced and Mr. Champion works with you. Stephen, Jesse, Cory and Geo were the guys that cut my trees and they were great. Even cleared out my gutters during cleanup. I for sure plan on working with this company again as I clear out more trees down the road.

Scott’s crew was professional, kind and prompt. They got my trees down last minute and went over and beyond in helping me clear an area. I couldn’t have better things to say about Scott and his crew!!! Thank you for being a wonderful service. I will be calling them again.

I would highly recommend Scott and his team for any tree work..
I called at 8 am on a Saturday morning and they arrived within one hour to give an estimate.

Pricing was competitive, service was quick and everyone was friendly.
I’m glad I called Champion Tree Service.

We had a “tree emergency “ and Champion tree service arrived quickly and with a fair estimate ,..no price increase for an emergency. A tree had fallen on another tree that wanted to fall on our house but the guys rearranged their schedule and handled the situation quickly The men were respectful to this frazzled mom (no swearing or eye rolling) and cleaned up the tree debris and didn’t leave any of their personal trash on the ground. They certainly seem to know their stuff. Hopefully We won’t be in this situation again but if we are Champion will be our first phone call !!

We had a tree removed that was damaged in the 2011 tornado. Scott gave us a very fair estimate, the guys showed up when they said they would, tackled the job efficiently and quickly, cleaned up after themselves and were incredibly polite and professional. Scott also lined up for a gentleman to follow up the next day and grind the stump. Everything went very smoothly; no excuses, no rescheduling, no “hidden” or additional costs, just good old-fashioned honest work ethic! You can’t even tell where the tree used to be in our yard. Our neighbors also had some work done by Champion Tree Service. Again, the crew was efficient, professional and considerate of the neighborhood as they worked. Highly recommended!! Scott is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Truly a great experience.

Highly recommend this company. Scott was very responsive, was able to get me an estimate within a couple of days and got the work done the next week. The guys who came out were very professional and did great work and were in and out in an afternoon. Scott will definitely be my first call if I ever need any other tree work done

Given there were no reviews for this company, I was hesitant at first to give them a try. I needed 5 cypress tree cut down at the home I had just purchased. They came out and gave me an estimate on the cypress trees, and then after discussing pricing we added a couple more trees. In total, they cut down 9 trees, moved them to the road, and then loaded them up in the back of truck. They worked quickly and efficiently, and did a fantastic job cleaning up the mess. They did such a fantastic job my neighbors are asking for their information for trees they want cut down. I highly recommend this company! Their prices were competitive (against three other companies), their workers professional, and they delivered with in the time frame agreed.
